Kudankulam: building a nuclear power plant in India

Begun in 2002, construction of two generating units at the Kudankulam nuclear power plant in India is drawing to a close. The project is being built by Indian engineers from Russian blueprints, with Russian equipment and with the technical assistance of Russian specialists.
