Colonel Dmitry Korolyov, first deputy director of the Russian Federal Security Service’s Border Control Department in Abkhazia, says the Abkhazian-Georgian border will be protected to the same extent as Russia’s borders with neighboring states and will be equipped with state-of-the-art telecommunications networks.
