The flight of the Russian Knights aerobatics group concluded the demonstration part of the MAKS-2009 air show on Sunday. Four Su-27 fighters circled the airfield at Zhukovsky near Moscow in memory of the commander of the group, Col. Igor Tkachenko, who died in a two-plane collision during a rehearsal for the show on August 16.
