The power station is expected to remain in operation for 38 years, or three cycles of 12 years each, with repair work to be carried out between cycles. The floating power stations will be used in remote areas, where it is not economically viable to install power lines or deliver conventional fuels. It will be far more profitable than building and operating traditional ground-based power plants.
