In early summer, Hyundai held a national contest to choose the best name for the Russian car. More than 27,000 people voted for the Solaris (which means ‘of the sun’ in Latin). In August, this car was exhibited in Moscow. Production of four-door sedans will begin in January, and production of hatchbacks in May.
