Rarely, over the past ten days, has a news item not featured the name of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. Known as the “king of kings,” he has been in power for 42 years. People across the country have taken to the streets, and are demanding his resignation. Muammar Gaddafi’s surprising statements and eye-catching wardrobe never failed to attract attention.
