Steve Jobs, right, is one of the greatest examples of success in the history of American business. He dropped out of college after one year, and never received a degree in technology. The future Apple CEO earned his living by collecting empty bottles before he started working at a company that produced video games. But his life changed when he met Stephen Wozniak, his future partner. Wozniak developed the Apple-1, the first Apple product. The computers were assembled in Jobs’ garage and were sold for $666.66. The invention allowed the entrepreneurs to test their skills and eventually design and release the improved Apple II computer in 1977. The device became a success.
