One of the rarest, largest and strongest birds in the world, the Philippine Eagle, or Monkey-eating Eagle, is native to the Philippines. The average female can be about one meter (3.3 ft) long with a wingspan of 220 cm. The Philippine Monkey-eating Eagle is one of the rarest species in the Accipitridae family (which has a total population of 200-300 birds.).
