    ... and wonderful architecture. Russia is beautifil. You don't see this kind of stylish and pretty scenes in the West. Here, old buildings are mixed with modern, all on one street, and it just looks plain ugly. And nobody cares because people have lost their sense of style and beauty.

    Sergiev, you were shooting difficult scenes on a winter, sunny day, with a lot of contrast. Yet, you have achieved great pics, with just enough detail in the highlights. Perhaps, the shadows are a little bit too dark and you have lost some details there. But, high contrast also looks great, when your main focus is in the highlights.

    I wonder what would happen, if you created three versions of each picture: one normal, one underexposed, and one overexposed, and then merged them into a High Dynamic Range (HDR) imqage using one of the many programs that can do it for you. Then, you would have great details both in the highlights and in the shadows.

    This is a good go-around, when you cannot take three not pics with different exposure for the HDR merger because of moving objects, like people and birds.

    I like your pictures. Great composition, great colors. Keep up the good work.
