Russian-Vietnamese military technical cooperation reaches high level
Dmitriyev is currently attending a regular session of the committee for bilateral military and technical cooperation in Vietnam.
The sides have summed up the results of the committee's work and are discussing all lines of further cooperation, including the supplies of materiel, equipment and spare parts for air, land forces and the navy.
The sides focused on the development of cooperation in the personnel training, Dmitriyev said. Vietnamese servicemen will have an opportunity to study at Russian military educational institutions.
According to Dmitriyev, Vietnam is interested in Russia's experience in overcoming emergencies and combating terrorism.
The delegation of the Russian federal service for military-technical cooperation will visit Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh and leave Vietnam on June 4.
