Russian Space Agency to show new spacecraft model
MOSCOW, July 5 (RIA Novosti) - A full-scale model of the Kliper, Russia's new generation spacecraft, will be exhibited at the 2005-MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon in the Moscow region, a source in the Russian Space Agency (Roskosmos) said Tuesday.
Anatoly Perminov, the head of Roskosmos, said the model would be mounted in front of the Roskosmos exposition.
Moreover, the Roskosmos exposition includes a full-scale model of Fregat space booster and a model of the Souyz launching complex for the Kourou launching site (French Guiana, South America).
According to Perminov, the Roskosmos exposition will cover more than 270 square meters. The exposition will be situated next to the display of the European Space Agency (ESA).
Leading enterprises of Russia's space industry, including the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation, Energomash Scientific and Production Enterprise, Progress Design Bureau, and the Khrunichev Space Center will also attend the air show.
