YEREVAN, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - More than 6,000 money-laundering crimes have been solved in Russia since the beginning of 2005, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said Thursday.
"This is 3.5% more than during the same period last year," Nurgaliyev said, speaking at a meeting of the CIS Council of Interior Ministers.
He said the ministry had been conducting joint investigations with the Federal Service for Fiscal Monitoring and focusing on control over budget funds allocated for federal programs in the social sector.
