NALCHIK, October 13 (RIA Novosti) - Seven gunmen are entrenched at a Nalchik police precinct and two in a central store, the Russian deputy prosecutor general said Thursday.
Vladimir Kolesnikov said two of the gunmen in the precinct were wounded.
"About 80-100 militants attacked at 9.00 a.m. [local time]," he said.
Kolesnikov also said the police were examining the sites of armed clashes and questioning witnesses and detainees.
