ROME, November 1 (RIA Novosti, Sergei Startsev) - The president of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yevgeny Primakov, arrived in Italy Tuesday evening.

During his two-day visit, Primakov will meet with the Italian deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Gianfranco Fini, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Lamberto Dini, and Deputy Trade Minister Adolfo Urso to discuss trade and economic relations, regional cooperation, investment and services, and partnership between small and medium-sized enterprises.

Primakov will travel to Milan Thursday to meet with Mayor Gabriele Albertini and businessmen of northern Italy. He will also meet with top officials of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce.
