Putin's second day in the Netherlands to yield joint documents

THE HAGUE, November 2 (RIA Novosti, Natalia Gorbunova, Andrei Poskakukhin) - President Vladimir Putin will meet with parliamentary and government officials in The Hague on the second day of his state visit to the Netherlands.
In the morning, he will meet with Speaker of the First Chamber of the Dutch Parliament Yvonne Timmerman-Buck and President of the Parliament Frans Weisglas. Then he will meet with Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende, which will be followed by talks between the Russian and Dutch delegations focusing on bilateral and international issues.
The negotiators are expected to sign the third joint program of action for 2006-07. The program includes political dialogue, cooperation in economy, trade and finance, in the social, defense and security spheres, and in education and culture.
The parties will also sign a joint working plan for education for 2005-08 and a memorandum on understanding between the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Netherlands Organization for Applied Research TNO.
Afterward, the Dutch government will host a lunch in honor of Putin and the other delegates. The event will gather Queen Beatrix, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander, his wife Princess Maxima, the Queen's sister Princess Margriet and her husband Pieter Vollenhoven.
Putin will then visit the Peace Palace where he will meet Shi Jiuyong, the president of the court, and other members of the International Court of Justice.
At the end of the day, Putin will give a farewell reception in the Noordeinde Palace where a Russian orchestra, Virtuosos of Moscow, will perform.
