Russia, India to cooperate in satellite navigation

MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and India are planning to cooperate in the area of satellite navigation, Indian Defense Minister Pranab Mukherjee announced at a Moscow press conference Wednesday.
Mukherjee said the Russian Defense Ministry, approached by the Indian Space Department, had agreed to cooperate in using a satellite navigation system.
The minister said this was a momentous decision for India, but that the specifics of cooperation in the area had yet to be discussed.
