ULSAN, November 21 (RIA Novosti) - Three more supertankers built by South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries will join the fleet of Russia's largest tanker company Sovcomflot in a naming ceremony at the company's shipyard in Ulsan Monday.

The Yury Senkevich, named after a prominent Russian physician and traveler, will set sail Tuesday.

The Viktor Konetsky and the Sovcomflot Baltika will be commissioned after they have passed sea trials.

Sovcomflot General Director Sergei Frank said the $150-million ice-class tankers, designed to ship oil from far-eastern facilities under the Sakhalin I project, would be able to sail in winter under extremely low temperatures. The Sovcomflot Baltika, an ice-class 1A Super, will ship oil from Primorsk, a port built in 2001 in Russia's Far East, to northwestern ports in the Baltic Sea.

Since it was established in 1972, Hyundai Heavy Industries has built about 40 ships for Sovcomflot.
