More than 40% of Chechen voters turn up by 4 p.m.

GROZNY, November 27 (RIA Novosti) - A total of 42.3% of voters had turned up at the parliamentary elections in the North Caucasian republic of Chechnya by 4 p.m. Moscow time (1 p.m. GMT), the local central electoral commission said Sunday. The law requires 25% of voters to turn up at the elections to validate the polls.
