XIANGANG (Hong Kong), December 15 (RIA Novosti, Mark Zavadsky)- Russian delegates attending the World Trade Organization conference in Hong Kong are facing a frantic next four days as they meet with representatives of more than 20 member countries in a bid to coordinate the terms of Russia's accession to the body.
According to one source in the delegation, a great deal depends on the position taken up by the United States. "The Americans always sign bilateral agreements last, and everyone knows that," he said. "The end of negotiations with the USA will help out talks with other countries."
As part of the efforts to tie up a deal, Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref will fly into Hong Kong on Friday, where he will meet with the head of the U.S. delegation, Trade Representative Rob Portman.
