Russia, U.S prolong scientific cooperation agreement

MOSCOW, January 13 (RIA Novosti, Arkady Orlov) - Russia and the U.S. agreed Friday to prolong a bilateral agreement on scientific and technical cooperation for another 10 years.
The agreement was signed on December 16, 1993 and it is aimed to expand the ties between the scientific and technical communities through the creation of favorable conditions for the development of scientific-technical cooperation for peaceful purposes on a mutually beneficial and balanced foundation.
