Russian Supreme Court upholds Chechen's sentence

MOSCOW, February 8 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Supreme Court rejected Wednesday a Chechen resident's appeal against a 25-year jail sentence for murdering six servicemen in September 1999.
Islan Mukayev was involved in a terrorist group that broke into western Daghestan, a North Caucasus republic bordering on war-town Chechnya, on September 5, 1999 capturing and murdering six servicemen. The execution was recorded on video.
