Helicopter crash kills two in central Russia

UFA, February 19 (RIA Novosti - Volga Area, Alik Shakirov) - A helicopter crashed in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan in the Volga area, a prosecutor said Sunday.

The helicopter went down on Saturday afternoon. The rescuers found the bodies of the helicopter's pilot and a passenger near the wreckage.

A criminal investigation into the incident has been launched.
