Three servicemen killed in clash with militants in Chechnya

GROZNY, March 4 (RIA Novosti) - Three Russian Interior Ministry contract servicemen have been killed in a clash with a group of militants in Chechnya's Kurchaloi district southeast of the republic's capital, a police source said Saturday.

The source said up to 20 militants had escaped. An operation to pursue and kill them is underway, he said.
