The head of Russian energy giant Gazprom said Friday that Algeria might take part in building liquefied natural gas plants in Russia.
"The stance of the Transdnestrian authorities, who are banning [foreign] cars from entering Transdnestr, is impossible to understand. They are effectively isolating themselves," the ministry said, adding that the ban inflicted heavy losses on importers from Ukraine and other neighboring countries.
We have signed arms contracts totaling $7.5 billion in the last two-three months, including on deliveries of air defense systems, combat aircraft, ships and combat vehicles.
Daghestan has received 1.71 million doses of a bird flu vaccine in the wake of an outbreak of the deadly disease.
"Ukraine will join the WTO before or simultaneously with Russia, [but] not later in any event," a Ukrainian Internet publication quoted Yuriy Yekhanurov as saying.
Russia's foreign minister will meet with a UN coordinator for the Mideast peace process to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Iran's nuclear program.
"Possible sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council against Iran will further aggravate tension in the South Caucasus region ... which is involved in ambitious economic projects with Iran," said Stepan Grigoryan.
