"I do not see [any] antagonistic, irresolvable differences," Viktor Khristenko said at a news conference following a meeting of the Group of Eight industrialized nations' energy ministers.
"We had no feeling that agreements with Gazprom on gas supplies were somehow violated due to increased gas consumption during the cold winter"
Viktor Khristenko, speaking at a briefing following a meeting of the G8 energy ministers, said: "Negotiations are ongoing, the talk process is not simple, and if results are reached, this would open up the possibility of ratifying [the charter]."
"We will be ready for full-fledged participation in their practical implementation, including the financial participation of our [Russian] companies, as well as the government's [financial] participation, if this is necessary" 
Russia's prosecutor general reported to President Vladimir Putin Thursday on the progress of the rehabilitation of victims of Soviet political, religious, and ethnic repression.
