Avalanche kills 1, buries several in northern Russia

ST. PETERSBURG, April 10 (RIA Novosti) - An avalanche has killed one and buried several other mountain skiers in the northern Russian region of Murmansk, the local emergencies center said Monday.
"About four mountain skiers were covered with snow," the center said.
Two skiers have been recovered, including one dead woman and a man who has survived.
A total of 24 people, including eight rescuers, are working on the northern slope of Mt. Aikuiaivencher searching for the skiers.
