One militant killed, two wounded in Chechnya - Interior Ministry

GROZNY, April 15 (RIA Novosti) - One militant was killed and two wounded in a shootout between local police and an armed group in Chechnya, a Russian republic in the North Caucasus, the local interior ministry said Saturday.

A ministry spokesman said the shootout had occurred near the village of Dattykh in the Sunzha District, which borders Ingushetia.

No police were wounded in the shootout, the spokesman added.
