Police find 1kg of plastic explosive in Ingushetia

MOSCOW, April 16 (RIA Novosti) - Police found about 1 kg of plastic explosives in Ingushetia, a Russian republic in the North Caucasus, the local interior ministry said Sunday.
The police found the explosives in a private house in the Nazran district of Ingushetia. The house owner, an unemployed and earlier convicted local resident, was detained, the ministry said.
The police also found an F-1 grenade and 22 5.45mm cartridges. An investigation into the illegal arms possession has been launched.
