ElBaradei has sent his report to the UN Security Council and the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The report is critical of Iran, which, ElBaradei said, has failed to halt its nuclear research in the 30 days given for the effort and continued to enrich uranium. 
"I was glad to hear that you are seeking constructive work with all [political forces]," Putin said at a meeting with President Alexander Lukashenko near St. Petersburg.
"Only when a pandemic virus strain develops will a vaccine be created, and it will not take long - only about a month," Mikhail Zurabov said after a meeting of health ministers of the Group of Eight (G8) industrial nations in Moscow. 
"The meeting will discuss additional proposals on inviting other UN and the IAEA members to review these [Iranian program] issues," Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with NATO foreign ministers in the Bulgarian capital. 
Russia has warned Belarus about its plans to supply natural gas at market prices, a source in a Russian delegation at talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said Friday.
On April 26, the city government of Sebastopol, on the Crimean peninsula, adopted a resolution granting regional status to the Russian language on the grounds that the community's ethnic makeup is mainly Russian. 
Introducing a single currency in Russia and Belarus will simplify mutual payments for natural gas supplies, a Russian delegation said Friday at the talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
"The most important thing is to prevent threats to the nonproliferation regime," Sergei Lavrov said, adding that work must be conducted to allow all countries implementing the provisions of the Nonproliferation Treaty to use civilian nuclear power.
Rosoboronexport, Russia's state-controlled arms exporter, is looking to strengthen its positions on markets in Latin America, a company official said Friday.
