Gazprom board approves 14% 2006 revenue increase to $79 billion

MOSCOW, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - The board of Russian energy giant Gazprom said Friday it had approved a draft financial plan for 2006 in a new wording, with a 14% increase in revenue to $79 billion.
According to the draft budget, revenues and earnings with account for the funds remaining as of the start of the year will be 2.16 trillion rubles ($79 billion), or 270.6 billion rubles ($9.9 billion) more than in a budget plan approved in February.
Expenditures total 2.25 trillion rubles ($82 billion), with borrowings remaining unchanged at 90 billion rubles ($3 billion). The surplus of funds on 2006 results is expected at 0.85 billion rubles ($31 million).
