MOSCOW, May 6 (RIA Novosti) - One man was killed and two seriously injured when an unidentified explosive device went off at a military base in Altai Territory in southeastern Siberia, an emergencies official said Saturday.
"The two injured [with fragmentation wounds] have been hospitalized," the official said, adding that the incident happened late Friday at a shooting range in Altai's Aleisky District, about 2,300 miles southeast of Moscow.
An investigation has been launched, the official said.
