ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 15 (RIA Novosti) - More than 50 rescue workers and two helicopters are continuing to search for four climbers missing since Tuesday last week on Europe's highest peak, an emergencies official said.
Two groups of climbers from Russia and Ukraine went missing late on Mount Elbrus May 9 at an altitude of 4,300 meters (14,000 feet). The bodies of seven were found two days later on the mountain, which is near the border with Georgia, but poor weather has affected the search for remaining climbers.
