Special forces storm house in southern Russia to seize militant

MAKHACHKALA, May 21 (RIA Novosti) - Security forces are storming a house in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Daghestan to seize a suspected gunman, the local interior ministry said.

According to the ministry, Bulat Abdullayev who has holed up in an apartment in a two-storey house in the town of Khasavyurt is suspected of carrying out terrorist acts and attacks on police.

According to preliminary information, three security forces have been seriously wounded in a shootout with the suspected gunman.
