MOSCOW, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - Members of the radical National Bolshevik Party who attempted to disrupt an international gathering of newspaper executives in Moscow will be charged with public order offences, law-enforcement officials said Tuesday.

Three NBP activists - a woman and two men - were detained Monday after gate-crashing the World Newspaper Congress in the Kremlin, shouting slogans including "Putin - executioner of freedom" and "Russia without Putin," as President Vladimir Putin prepared to address the gathering on the topic of press freedom in Russia.

The protesters were ejected from the conference hall a few minutes later and taken to a police station. Fifty anti-Putin leaflets were seized from them upon detention. The trio will have to pay fines of about $15-$30, but will not face jail terms as the charges are under the Administrative rather than the Criminal Code.

The National Bolsheviks, led by controversial novelist Eduard Limonov, are outspoken critics of the current government, and have repeatedly been denied registration as a political party.
