Member countries of the six-nation Shanghai Cooperation Organization are expected to sign documents on anti-terrorism cooperation at a two-day summit starting Wednesday, a Russian presidential aide said.
Police and army officers, as well as aircraft, launched an operation early Wednesday in Russia's troubled North Caucasus to apprehend a group of suspected militants, the local interior ministry said.
Leaders of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will gather in the China Wednesday for a two-day jubilee summit.
