MOSCOW, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's lower house of parliament Friday passed in first reading a draft law on granting Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) or a 100% subsidiary exclusive rights to exports of Russian gas.
The State Duma voted 380-6, with eight abstentions, well above the 226 votes needed.
Borys Gryzlov, the State Duma speaker, proposed to vote on the bill in second and third readings June 28 at a Duma plenary session.
