MOSCOW, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom Neft, a subsidiary of Russian energy giant Gazprom, said Friday it had bought a 100% stake in Zarubezhneftegazstroi, a Russian pipeline construction company.

Gazprom Neft, formerly Sibneft, is looking to set up a single construction customer service by July 1 as part of its new capital construction strategy.

"The move will enable the company to concentrate the functions of the construction customer within the competence of one legal entity," Gazprom Neft said in a news release.

Zarubezhneftegazstroi, also known as Zangaz, will open its offices in the Urals and Siberian federal districts in the cities of Noyabrsk, Khanty-Mansiisk, Omsk and Tomsk, which will be attended by staff from Gazprom Neft's subsidiaries.

Gazprom bought last year more than 75% in Sibneft, which was renamed Gazprom Neft in May 2006.
