Police arrest suspected serial killer in Moscow

MOSCOW, June 18 (RIA Novosti) - Police have arrested a person suspected of several killings in the south of Moscow, the law-enforcement agencies said Sunday.
"The Moscow operatives have detained a person suspected of committing grave crimes on the territory of the Bitsa Park," the law-enforcement authorities said.
Crimes were committed from 2000, the law-enforcement agencies said.
"The special operation to identify and detain a serial killer was carried out by the Moscow main interior department in interaction with Moscow's other interior bodies," the law-enforcement authorities said.
During the operation, the police employed the latest technical means and the Interior Ministry's special aviation.
