NALCHIK, June 19 (RIA Novosti) - The president of the North Caucasus region of Kabardino-Balkaria dismissed the republic's government Monday.
A source in the president's staff said Arsen Kanokov had dismissed the government according to the republic's constitution, following the resignation of Prime Minister Gennady Gubin.
Deputy Prime Minister Anuar Chechenov has been appointed acting premier.
