MOSCOW, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - Three-day command and post exercises of military transport aircraft will start July 13, Russia's Air Force commander said Tuesday.
Vladimir Mikhailov said units deployed in five Russian regions would take part in the exercises.
"During the exercises, the pilots will practice interaction with units of other branches and arms of the Armed Forces," Mikhailov said.
He said Il-76 Candid would make 60 sorties, and 120 pieces of equipment and more than 1,000 servicemen would be redeployed.
"More than 10 airports in different Russian regions will be used by military transport pilots," the commander said.
