MOSCOW, July 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Central Bank said Monday the country's M0 money supply grew 15.7% in April-June 2006, from 2.066 trillion rubles (about $76.5 billion) on April 1 to 2.392 trillion rubles (about $88.5 billion) on July 1.
Banknotes made up 2.377 trillion rubles (about $88 billion) or 99.39% of cash in circulation while the value of coins totaled 14.568 billion rubles (about $539.5 million) or 0.61%.
In the first half of 2006, the value of banknotes in circulation grew 8.77% and coins 7.68%, the Central Bank said.
