A Russian emergencies ministry aircraft has left Georgia's capital for Moscow, carrying 85 Russian nationals, Novosti Georgia agency reported Tuesday. 
Changes in the composition of the participants in the controversial Sakhalin II oil and gas project in Russia's Far East are dictated purely by corporate interests, Russia's industry and energy minister said Tuesday. 
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday large national research centers should be created in the country to boost high technology and encourage innovation. 
The Sakhalin prosecutor's office for environmental protection has summoned the acting head of the local environmental agency for questioning, the Russian Natural Resources Ministry said Tuesday.
