Moldovan wine could appear in Russia in January-February, Russia's chief doctor said Saturday. 
The three Russian companies the U.S. imposed sanctions on did not violate international norms, Russia's defense minister said Saturday. 
A woman and two children have been taken out of debris after part of a residential building collapsed in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, emergencies services said Saturday. 
"This is certainly not the first time the U.S. has made an illegal attempt to apply its domestic laws to foreign companies and force them to operate according to American rules," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. 
"Russia would not like aviation authorities in either country to influence companies' competitiveness; that's not our business. We should provide equal conditions to all companies," Igor Levitin, who is on a working trip to the U.S., told RIA Novosti. 
The United States has asked Russia to increase the volume of flights by U.S. airlines on routes over the Russian Federation linking America, Asia and Europe, Russia's transport minister said Saturday. 
There is a pressing need for Russia to harmonize its flight safety procedures with international standards, the transportation minister said Saturday.
