Gasoline prices in Russia decline 0.1% Jan. 15-22

MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - Gasoline prices in Russia slipped 0.1% in the week of January 15-22, the nation's top statistics body said Tuesday.
The Federal State Statistics Service said the average price of gasoline stood at 17.83 rubles (about $0.67) per liter on August 22.
The price of the low-octane A-76 and Ai-80 brands slid 0.1% to 15.82 rubles ($0.59), the regular Ai-92 and Ai-93 brands remained at 18.7 rubles ($0.7), and the Ai-95 premium brand stayed at 20.14 rubles (abut $0.76).
The price of diesel went up 0.1% in the reporting period to an average of 17.13 rubles ($0.65) per liter.
Growth in average motor gasoline prices was only registered in eight Russian regional centers, the agency said.
