MOSCOW, June 21 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian rescue plane with 73 Russians and seven Belarusians evacuated from conflict-torn Gaza landed in Moscow after 6 p.m. local time (2 p.m. GMT).

The majority of those evacuated are women, married to Gazans, and with their children who left the Palestinian enclave to avoid armed clashes between the radical Islamic movement Hamas, which has seized control over the area, and the pro-presidential Fatah.

The flight was subject to an hour's delay. The plane arrived Thursday morning at an airport in Amman, the capital of Jordan, where the evacuees had been brought by bus.
