MOSCOW, July 13 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian and Chinese foreign ministers will meet Friday to discuss political, economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
Sergei Lavrov and Yang Jiechi will also discuss arrangements for a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, to be held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, August 16. The two diplomats will also address the ongoing Year of China in Russia.
In addition, the two ministers will raise international problems, including the situation surrounding Iran and North Korea.
The Chinese foreign minister is on a four-day official visit to Russia. He is also expected to meet with St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko.
