MOSCOW, August 12 (RIA Novosti) - Unidentified persons have stolen a large sum of money from the office of a large travel agency in Moscow, a police source said Sunday.
A 44-year-old general director of a leading travel agency located in northwestern Moscow turned to police August 11, saying 7.8 million rubles (about $305,000) had been stolen from the office, the police source said.
The police have found that the crime was committed between Friday night and Saturday morning. There are no signs of burglary in the office, which suggests that one of the travel agency's employees or the person who had the necessary keys had committed the crime, the police source said.
Police are taking measures to apprehend the thieves, the source said.
