Russian, Madagascar foreign ministers to discuss conflicts in Africa

MOSCOW, October 7 (RIA Novosti) - Madagascar foreign minister Marcel Ranjeva is arriving in Moscow on a working visit Sunday to discuss the settlement of conflicts and crises on the African continent with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
The ministers will discuss the role of the African Union and sub-regional organizations in the efforts to strengthen stability and consolidate integration processes on the continent, and also bilateral relations, a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The parties will focus on the search for ways to use the available potential more broadly to develop mutually advantageous cooperation in the trade and economic and cultural spheres, personnel training and strengthen the contractual base of the Russian-Madagascar interaction," Mikhail Kamynin said.
