Blast injures four in Nazran, south Russia - 2

NAZRAN, March 24 (RIA Novosti) - Four people were injured on Monday in a bomb blast in Nazran, a city in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia, a spokeswoman for the local Interior Ministry said.
The bomb containing 2kg of TNT equivalent and packed with bolts and screws was planted under a Mercedes car.
The spokeswoman told RIA Novosti that two of the wounded are police officers, and the other two are passers by. She said one of the officers is in a critical condition after losing both legs in the explosion, while the other three sustained severe injuries.
She also said an investigation into the blast had been launched.
