MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - A Tajik national has been robbed and murdered in eastern Moscow, a police source said on Friday.
According to preliminary information, the 25-year-old taxi driver was fatally stabbed during the robbery.
The attackers will face up to 15 years in prison if brought to justice.
This year has seen a rise in the number of attacks on Central Asians in Russia. In February the Kyrgyz embassy in Moscow sent an official note to Russia's Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry and the Prosecutor General's Office protesting at the murders of at least four Kyrgyz nationals in Russia this year.
